Introduction The Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site - coloured yellow - is quite a narrow area within the Derwent Valley and is located pretty much in the middle of Derbyshire, running along the River Derwent between Matlock Bath and the top of Derby City.This map is reproduced on Page 10 of the book.
